Welcome to the new Academic Year

Carlos E. Padula
President, Shelton Academy

Welcome to the 2025–2026 academic year at Shelton Academy. Each new school year is not only a beginning but also a renewal of our shared mission: to form students with a human, ethical, and Christian vision of life and work.

At Shelton Academy, our inspiration is Saint Josemaría Escrivá, who taught that ordinary work, done with love, has deep meaning. Work is not only a way to achieve results, but also a path to personal growth, to serving others, and to contributing to the common good. As he said, “Work is born of love, it manifests love, and it is directed toward love.” This vision reminds us that daily tasks, whether in the classroom, on the sports field, or at home can be transformed into opportunities for holiness.

Our commitment is to provide your children not only with academic excellence, but also with the formation of character, virtues, and faith. We want them to graduate as young men and women who live with integrity, generosity, and hope, ready to make a positive difference in the world. This requires high expectations, consistent dedication, and, above all, the spirit of family that unites parents, teachers, and students.

The culture of Shelton Academy is built in the details: in the care we give to learning, in the joy we cultivate in community life, and in the kindness shown in daily interactions are not simply building a school, but a home of integral formation, where joy, friendship, and Christian values come together to shape lives.

As we begin this academic year, I invite you to renew with us the mission of Shelton Academy: to help each student discover the dignity of work, the beauty of learning, and the joy of living for God and for others. Together, as parents, teachers, and students, we can make each day a step toward excellence and sanctity.

At Shelton Academy, we believe in personalized education that unites academic excellence, Christian values, and personal responsibility to form leaders of character and faith.

With gratitude for your trust and collaboration.
