Formation and Family

Catholic Formation at Shelton Academy

Theology at Shelton Academy is a rich and formative subject that begins as early as Pre-K3. Guided by our talented and dedicated teachers, children learn about their Catholic faith through engaging, interactive classes that make faith come alive. Beyond learning prayers, students are invited to experience the richness of the Catholic tradition while also exploring the anthropological reasoning of faith and the teachings of Saint Josemaría Escrivá, our patron saint. In this way, theology at Shelton is not only a subject, it is a journey that nurtures both heart and mind.

Theology is a required course at every grade level.

  • Catholic values guide all activities and priorities at Shelton.
  • Students participate in Masses throughout the school year.
  • Regular access to the Sacrament of Confession is offered.
  • Service projects are supervised by faculty and parents.
  • Charitable outreach programs support those most in need.
  • Prayers and traditions follow the Catholic liturgical calendar.
