Additional Requirements for International Students requesting an I-20
Shelton Academy is approved by the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) to provide visas for international students to study in the United States. Once accepted and officially enrolled to Shelton Academy the parent must provide the following if requesting an I-20:
- Student Passport
- $120 Processing Fee to Shelton Academy
- Parent Identification and/or Sponsor’s Identification if applicable
- Financial Statements showing student or sponsor has sufficient funds to cover tuition and living expenses (bank records or income taxes no older than 6 months)
- Verification of US address (utility bill, etc); Verification of foreign address
- Legal documentation giving sponsor guardianship rights (if applicable)
