D.I.V.E. Discover, Imagine, Venture, and Explore

Shelton Academy’s D.I.V.E. program is a one-of-a-kind marine biology and life science experience, the only program of its kind in the city of Doral! Designed to merge academic excellence with hands-on discovery, D.I.V.E. immerses students in the wonders of the ocean and the natural world through weekly study sessions and leadership training.

In the classroom, students work directly with live animals, shells, and biological specimens, using microscopes and interactive tools that spark curiosity and a love for science. With an emphasis on critical thinking and exploration, our teacher guides students to observe, question, and discover the living world around them, turning every lesson into an adventure.

  • Pre-K3–Kindergarten: Learn through play with simple breathing, movement, and song activities that reinforce classroom lessons.
  • 1st–2nd Grade: Develop rhythm, movement, and ensemble skills through repetition, storytelling, and expressive teaching.

Will To Love

Will to Love is a joint venture with the University of Navarra dedicated to deepening our understanding of anthropology, human dignity, and the affectivity process that shapes us as free human beings—capable of making decisions with respect for ourselves and for others. This program works hand in hand with our parents, who are and always will be the first and most important educators of their children.

Theology

Theology at Shelton Academy is a rich and formative subject that begins as early as Pre-K3. Guided by our talented and dedicated teachers, children learn about their Catholic faith through engaging, interactive classes that make faith come alive. Beyond learning prayers, students are invited to experience the richness of the Catholic tradition while also exploring the anthropological reasoning of faith and the teachings of Saint Josemaría Escrivá, our patron saint. In this way, theology at Shelton is not only a subject, it is a journey that nurtures both heart and mind.

Spanish

Spanish Class at Shelton Academy is a special program designed to spark curiosity about Latin American and Spanish culture while building interest in learning another language. We believe that bilingual children gain a valuable advantage in life, and our classes open the door to that opportunity. Through poetry, literature, and theatre, our teachers inspire students to connect with the richness of the Spanish-speaking world and to discover the joy of expressing themselves in another language.
