New families: Welcome to Shelton Academy 2026 -2027

Our mission is for families and teachers to work together in the upbringing and formation of responsible adults, individuals who strive for attaining excellence while committing to serving others. Our vision is focused on empowering future generations as they excel in life by a catholic education.

Our hope is for our students to contribute positively to society with a spirit of innovation. Shelton Academy takes great pride in instilling human excellence, family values, and an unrelenting service to others.

EARLY YEARS & LOWER SCHOOL courses are created to ensure that our students develop as independent thinkers. Students will take a variety of courses that will challenge and develop their language, mathematics, and verbal skills.

  • PK-3 and PK-4 classes include Language Arts, Reading, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Physical Education, Theology and Performing Arts.
  • In addition to these core classes, Lower School students (K-5th grade) are offered art and our two signature programs, M.I.N.D.S (a unique art program in collaboration with Prado Museum in Madrid and Museum of the University of Navarre) and D.I.V.E. (a unique marine biology and life science experience).

UPPER SCHOOL Students at Shelton Academy take a comprehensive college preparatory curriculum. Students who qualify may register for a challenging Advanced Placement program. Registering for Advanced Placement and Honors level courses require an unweighted grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
