This math enrichment course is designed for students to help sharpen their with critical thinking and abstract reasoning skills in math. Taught by an experienced teacher concepts range from logic, reasoning, and probability to geometry, integers, decimals, and fractions. math, and higher-order thinking skills are reinforced using best practices, a variety of teaching techniques, and specific material tailored to each student's skill level.
Reading & writing workshop -3rd- 5th grade
Students will enjoy this enrichment course that gives the opportunity to write thought-provoking fiction, expressive nonfiction, and cross-genre writing under the direction of highly accomplished teachers. Emphasis will be on reading analysis and the writing process with group discussions to help develop the student's ability to write clearly and compellingly.
Reinforcement skills – 2nd grade
Students who are entering second grade will benefit greatly from our research-supported summer curriculum designed to give individual attention to each student. Basic literacy and math skills are reinforced using best practices and a variety of teaching techniques. Students are also exposed to Language Arts, Reading and Math.
