Job Responsibilities Include:
To create and maintain individual learning plans (ILP) for all exceptional education students.
To maintain accurate and complete ILP documentation as per ADOM.
Meet with parents to review ILP and record progress and concerns.
Organize, prepare and lead Staffing Meetings with faculty, parents, and guidance counselors to better meet the needs of the student.
Assist students in learning to utilize assistive technology tools to support their learning and growth.
To increase the awareness and appropriate use of assistive technology within exceptional student education classrooms.
To represent our school at the appropriate conferences and workshops pertaining to ESE.
Write, implement, and monitor individual learning plans (ILP) that will guide each student’s instructional program based on student assessments, needs and strengths.
Evaluate documentation in an appropriate manner based on the student’s disability, ILP, or special learning needs.
Act as liaison/coordinator of ILP with our faculty.
To actively build strong relationships with parents, guardians, and families that foster trust, collaboration, and communication.
