Maritza Ballarales

“What I love about Shelton is the collective enthusiasm that is felt among children, families and staff.”

– Ms. Maritza Ballarales

Pre-K 3 Teacher

Ms. Ballarales’ main inspiration comes from God.  She studied to become a midwife and is fascinated by the expectations of a new life. She is extremely passionate about nature and the importance of family. She admires her parents for their courage and for teaching her and her siblings to always put their values and faith before anything. She feels that at Shelton she finds motivation to grow and learn, to make herself better and be the best that she can be for the service of others. Now that she can share her faith and embrace Catholic beliefs freely while doing what she loves, she feels at home all the time. What she loves most about teaching is the constant reminder of how God wants us to live. She believes that children at this age are very spontaneous, always present, happy and pure.
